We have been working on future tenses for the last three sessions and , even though I'm sure everybody has understood them perfectly , you can practise a little bit to prepare properly the exam. Use the following links to practise:tohttp://www.usingenglish.com/quizzes/339.html

4th Grade ESOers: Let's write an essay!

As you know, ( or you should if you didn't sleep last session ), we hva been focusing on essays. It's time for one. Watch the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9nq886mOjAand then work on the following topic:
" Does publicity have to be more moral than it already is?"

Just for help, watch the following videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dO-IjmZae2I&feature=fvst

A dialogue with no words.( 1st ESOers )

Have you ever tried to speak without using words? Here it is! My proposal is

  • Watch this video and pay attention to the signs

  • write a dialogue using only signs ( in class we will perform it in pairs, great fun! )

This week's jokes!!!

This week our jokes will be related to.....WAITERS!!!

Remember to add a joke on the topic selected and at the end of the week, following your comments, we will choose the best one. Ready for the joke competition:

Waiter, this soup tastes funny
So why don't you laugh?

Waiter, there's a dead beetle in my soup.
Yes sir, they're not very good swimmers.

Waiter, there's a dead fly in my soup!
Yes, sir, it's the hot water that kills them.

Waiter, what's this in my soup?
I'm not sure, sir, I can't tell one bug from another
